Meet Our Psychologist : Alexandra Chomat, Clinical Psychologist & Educational Neuropsychologist
I’m a French-trained clinical psychologist, accompanying individuals, couples, and families as they navigate life’s changes — towards greater self-understanding and equilibrium.
Having lived and worked in different places around the world — from Romania and France to Sweden, the United States, and now Singapore, I’ve had the privilege of connecting with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds. These experiences have deepened my belief that, wherever we come from, we share the same capacity to adapt, grow, and find balance amid change.
At the heart of my practice lies a deep appreciation for resilience — the quiet strength that allows us to bend without breaking, to rebuild after loss, and to rediscover meaning through change. I believe resilience is not innate but cultivated, often emerging in the moments when life asks us to begin again.
My work is grounded in the conviction that each person and each family carries the potential for growth, transformation, and connection. I approach every encounter with care, respect, and curiosity.
Why Equilibrium Mind?
I chose Equilibrium Mind because, for me, it captures what I seek both in therapy and in life.
Equilibrium means finding balance between opposites — between excess and lack, too much and too little, doing and pausing.
In that precious half-measure lies the space that holds just enough.
I am also a mother and a partner, a daughter and a friend — roles that remind me daily of life’s delicate balances.
